Limerick Celtics Double win in Home Double Header .

An outstanding night of basketball in front of a sell out crowd at Crescent College saw both Women’s and Men’s National League teams win.

The Women’s team pipped a sharp shooting Cleveland Rockets in the final seconds when Stephanie McBride knocked down 4 consecutive late free throws to mass an incredible personal stat line of 40 points and 30 rebounds for Celtics . A vital defensive  rebound by Sorcha Cronin with 1 second on the clock wrapped up the win 97 to 94.

Limerick Celtics Men’s team beat Moycullen in a fast paced physical encounter. A 26 to 13 3rd q gave Celtics a comfortable lead which the managed efficiently till the final buzzer to take the win 84 to 70 with Aryion Willims on 30 points and Finn Hughes 23 leading the scoring.
